Model (Click me to move around)

Notes:

  • Earned grade of 100% on this portion of test
  • Demonstrates my technical ability to CAD model quickly, this took ~30 mins
  • Demonstrates my ability to learn quickly, for instance I had never used some tools before until the test
  • If I had more time, I think this model could be improved by adding the polka dot pattern as well as connecting the corner of the lips to better resemble the reference

Assignment Highlight: Animal Puzzle & Presentation

Task:

  • Create 3D modelled puzzle of a Canadian animal with an accompanying presentation describing the design process undertaken

Presentation

Model of Shell

Model of Inner Bone Puzzle

Notes:

  • Since the puzzle was 3D printed, it could have been improved by fixing the tolerances. The spaces between pieces was too small, and thus the puzzle was difficult to assemble without having to heavily sand down those parts.
